I'll skip the preamble that might explain why I ask this... why I'm out looking... but I am curious if any of you have used Inktense colored pencils (by Derwent)... and what you think. On top of that, I'm curious what your favorite mediums or tools are for color... for many of you, I know, the answer will lie in paint. But not for all of you. What do you love and why?

I just received a set from my mom who didn't like them. I haven't tried them yet, but have plans. I'll let you know.

Grace uses those pencils & loves them. I think she got 4 different boxes of them for her birthday.
I have been using our tombow markers more & more lately as well as gel pens. I love gessoing a journal page, then covering with tempra paint & gel pens on top.
