  1. WOW! I’m so excited to read that you have a new podcast up! I was coming here to see if you knew about the Toys for Iraq drive. I’m chatting about it over on Material Mama:
SPREAD THE WORD: Send your used stuffed animals and toys to children in Iraq
    http://www.parenthacks.com/2006/09/spread_the_word.html
They are in need of gently loved stuffed animals, dolls etc. to hand out to the orphans and children in Iraq. I have five large boxes sitting by my door and am ready to sew up some more.
I thought your listeners might be interested. It would be cool to get a whole mama podcasting movement going with this!

  2. That was a fantastic podcast! When I heard your son say “I’ll always be your little boy mama” my heart just melted – my own son is 7 and we are very close. (BTW, we did the bowling party too last year – it’s a stage they go through it seems!)
The stories too about Jack and the quilt made of baby clothes were really touching. Thank you so much for such an inspirational podcast :)

  3. I’ve just found your podcast through Faith of the Knitting Cook and I’m so glad I did! I find it interesting, informative and love to hear your sons introduce each segment. Your stories have touched me deeply on many occasion as I listen through all your back catalogue. Thank you for taking the time to podcast.
